Bringing advanced physiological testing to you


We utilize equipment that transforms and modernizes metabolic and VO2 max testing. Traditionally these tests required an entire laboratory room setup with multiple, large testing machines. Our backpack testing system liberates us from those restrictions. By getting out of the lab and into your world, we can identify your strengths and weaknesses to optimize your training & fitness goals.

Our methodology examines your metabolism, cardiovascular and respiratory fitness, training zones, and movement efficiency for a holistic approach. The metrics measured include VO2 max, aerobic threshold, anaerobic threshold, resting metabolic rate and fuel usage (fats vs carbs). These metrics are the gold standard for athletic performance and optimizing health.

 

The data we create can be used to measure and improve outcomes for any fitness goal. Here are some of the applications:

Weight Loss & General Health

Our testing will provide you with your specific resting metabolic rate (calories burned) to help you optimize your diet & exercise plan. Stop using generic numbers and tailor that smart watch to your individual data!

We can measure and develop a training plan for you to increase VO2 max to provide dramatic improvement in overall health. This metric is a great one to measure for health because it avoids the stigma of weight and the annoyance of calorie counting. Read more about it here.

David Thul has been involved in endurance sport for over 20 years. He has competed in track, cross country and cycling and has taken on all flavors of endurance challenge.

Notably ambitious endurance endeavors include:
